Security services arrest a gang running a black market for the illegal currency

The Yemeni security services ,Friday, held a gang trading in the illegal currency in a clear violations of the directives of the Central Bank in Sanaa, a security source said.

The operation of arresting traffickers in the illegal currency came to protect the economy and the national currency from collapsinf,it confirmed.

The source called on all citizens to abide by the decision of the Central Bank through not trading or dealing with the illegal currency except in accordance with the determinants approved by the Yemeni Central because of the severe damage that will affect the economy, the national currency and the life of the citizen.

The security source called for the necessity for citizens to cooperate through informing the official authorities about whoever uses that currency as a means of trading or profiting through contacting the toll-free number for complaints and notifications in the central bank (8000041).
