Yemen’s ambassador to Tehran meets the Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technology
The Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Tehran Ibrahim Al-Dailami discussed with the Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technology Dr. Mansour Gholami the aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing them, especially in the fields of higher education and scientific research.
The meeting discussed aspects related to the renewal and development of the cultural exchange agreement signed between the governments of the Republic of Yemen and the Islamic Republic of Iran in the year 2003 AD, coordination of the visits program and exchange of experiences between Yemeni and Iranian universities and agreeing to arrange a mechanism for the delivery of scholarships in various specializations and scientific fields for the year 2020 AD.
The meeting touched on the situation of Yemeni students on scholarships to study in Iran and to develop solutions to the problems facing them.
The Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technology affirmed his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation relations between the two countries in the scientific fields and research, and to overcome the difficulties facing Yemeni students.
