The head of the national negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul Salam said on Sunday that 1400 war prisoners, including Saudi and Sudanese soldiers, would be released in a new exchange deal with the aggression coalition.
He revealed the UN-sponsored deal came to carry out Stockholm Agreement about releasing the prisoners from both sides.
“We have made constructive steps to carry out Sweden agreement, such as redeployment in Hodeidah ports and stopping military actions for achieving comprehensive peace despite escalating violations by the coalition and its mercenaries,” Abdul Salam added.
The head of the National Prisoners’ Affairs Committee, Abdul Qadir Al-Mortada,menwhile announced the UN-brokered exchange agreement was signed with the other party in Jordan to release 1420 war prisoners as a first stage.
