Hundreds of Egyptians arrested for breaking curfew
Egypt’s Interior Ministry said that 1,816 citizens who violated the country’s curfew were arrested in just 24 hours.
The ministry said in a statement that 1,816 people were arrested, 78 cars, 51 motorcycles, 32 tuk-tuk vehicles and 83 public stores sized.
The ministry confirmed that it continues its efforts to take all preventive measures to implement the ban during the specified dates, and take legal measures against violators in order to preserve the public health and safety of citizens.
