Head of national redeployment team in Hodeidah meets head of UN Mission
The Deputy Chief of General Staff, head of the National Redeployment Team in Hodeidah province, Major General Ali Al-Mosheki , met on Tuesday, via a television circle, the head of the United Nations Mission in Support of the Hodeidah Agreement, and the head of the Joint Redeployment Coordination Committee, General Abhijit Guha.
During the meeting, Major General Al-Mosheki confirmed the commitment of the army and the people’s committees to a ceasefire in Hodeidah, despite the continuous violations of the aggression forces.
He pointed out the importance of the United Nations envoy to Yemen to play his role by pressing on the party of the aggression to end the unjust blockade on Duraihimi district and releasing detained fuel ships and deciding on the issue of exchanging all prisoners for all.
The head of the national team pointed out the necessity to oblige the aggression countries to stop the flights and combat spy flights in the airspace of Hodeidah and implement what was agreed upon.
For his part, General Guha explained that he had prepared a new concept of operations regarding redeployment in Hodeidah.
Guha stressed that there are great efforts being made in cooperation with the UN envoy to find a solution to end the siege on Duraihimi, the release of detained ships and the issue of the prisoner exchange.
