Salvation Government Spokesman condemns Saudi-led aggression crime in Al-Jawf, considers it a war crime

The Salvation Government Spokesman, Minister Dhaif Allah al-Shami said on Wednesday condemned the Saudi-led aggression coalition’s airstrikes on a wedding party in Jawf province, which killed and injured more than 31, most of them women and children.

The government spokesman explained that targeting coalition aircraft for a family party, including women and children, is a full-fledged war crime.

He pointed out that this brutal crime comes days after the aggression coalition forces committed a massacre in the district of Wishah in Hajjah province, in which women and children killed, stressing that these crimes will not go unnoticed and the response will be painful.

He pointed out that the aggression alliance has been more careful in committing these crimes after the decision of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to remove the name of the aggression led by Saudi Arabia from the list of shame for the killers of children in Yemen, which makes the United Nations organization a partner in committing these crimes.

The government spokesman held the aggression coalition and the international community fully responsible for these crimes, which are inconsistent with all international and humanitarian norms, charters, and laws.

He called on humanitarian organizations that are striving for the rights of children to play their role in relation to crimes against humanity that committed against children and women in Yemen.
