The Ministry of Communications launches a distress call and warns of an imminent suspension of services
An imminent disruption of telecommunications and Internet services ,Monday, was warned by Yemen’s Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology in the National Salvation Government .
Telecommunications and postal companies are facing a severe shortage of oil derivatives due to the continued detention of vessels carrying oil derivatives by the US-Saudi-led coalition, the ministry said.
It , in addition, warned of an imminent disruption of telecommunications and internet services for millions of civilians in Yemen.
The ministry issued a distress call to the United Nations, the international community and the international organizations and associations concerned to carry out its obligations to lift the ban on the entry of ships loaded with oil derivatives into Yemen.
