Taiz governorate commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussein

The people of Al-Ta’iziyah, Haifan, and Khadir districts, in Taiz governorate, organized, on Sunday, a mass event on the commemoration of Ashura, the martyrdom of Imam Hussein.

In the event, the supervisor of Al-Ta’aziah directorate, Dr. Mohammed Al-Dhibani, and Sheikh Ali Al-Surouri stressed the importance of commemorating this event in gaining lessons from Imam Hussain in confronting tyrants and arrogant people.

During the event, speeches and poems were delivered that spoke about the revolution of Imam Hussain and the position of truth that he had taken in the face of tyrants and oppressors.

They highlighted the tragedy of Ashura and the tragedy that followed as a result of the deviation away from the teachings of Islam.

The participants also condemned all kinds of normalization with the Israeli enemy, in which some client regimes were implicated.
