360 of the Yemeni prisoners arrive at Sana’a International Airport
Today Thursday, 360 prisoners of the army and the popular committees arrived at the capital, Sanaa, as part of the exchange deal with the forces of aggression to release 1081 prisoners from both sides.
The head of the National Committee for Prisoners Affairs, Abdul Qadir Al-Murtada, held a press conference in which he blessed all the prisoners who were released today, confirming the arrival of 3 aircraft so far carrying 360 prisoners of the army and the committees, and a fourth plane carrying 110 prisoners will arrive after two hours.
Al-Murtada said: Tomorrow Friday, 200 prisoners will arrive from Aden airport while we will release 150 of their prisoners from Sanaa, stressing that the National Committee for Prisoners faced great difficulties until it reached this event, and some parties did not want this operation to take place.
He added: “We confirm that we are dealing with the file of prisoners from A purely humanitarian standpoint, and we hope that all parties deal with it on the same principle.
Al-Murtada affirmed his full readiness to enter directly into new consultations that would lead to new agreements, expressing thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the exchange process.
