Interior Ministry announces killing of the head member of Minister Zaid assassination cell

Interior Ministry announced on Saturday the death of the mastermind of the Youth and Sports Minister’s assassination operation.

In a statement, the ministry confirmed the killing of criminal Mohammad Hanash, the mastermind of the assassination operation targeted Youth and Sports Minister Hasan Zaid last Tuesday.

Hanash killed while resisting a security campaign headed to arrest him in the Horour area in Maifah Ans district of Damar province.

The perpetrators of the assassination motorcycle driver Yasser Ahmed Muthana and the shooting executor Ibrahim Saleh al-Juba also killed while resisting arrest on Wednesday in the same area.

Zaid, 66, was gunned down on Tuesday morning while driving with his daughter in the capital Sana’a. The assassination operation claimed the minister’s life and seriously injured his daughter.
