A workshop for mobilization for an agricultural revolution in the districts of the South Square in Hodeidah

The local authority, in cooperation with the Agricultural Committee in Hodeidah governorate, organized a workshop yesterday in Beit Al-Faqih district on mobilizing official and popular efforts to launch an agricultural revolution to achieve self-sufficiency in the southern districts of the governorate.

The workshop aimed to provide directors of directorates, district supervisors, engineers and managers of agricultural offices, and a number of farmers from the directorates of the Southern Square and Bonyan Development Foundation, foundations and skills on how to exploit the opportunities and resources available to them in the direction of agriculture.

In the workshop, the first undersecretary of the governorate, Ahmed Mahdi Al-Bishri, emphasized the importance of following up the work of the community committees in the governorate directorates for supporting and encouraging farmers technically and guiding and activating initiatives and forming agricultural societies.

He pointed to the importance of community participation and its role in expanding the cultivation of fertile lands and overcoming the difficulties facing farmers, thus contributing to achieving self-sufficiency.
