Habtoor discusses with Tawoos the progress of the Supreme Council’s activity
Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor met today with the Secretary General of SCMCHA, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister heard from Tawoos a presentation on the council’s activities for the past period of this year and the progress of relations with humanitarian organizations operating in Yemen.
He pointed to the workshop on identifying the needs of the Republic of Yemen ibc, which was held today in Sana’a with the participation of the relevant government agencies, which come to determine the actual need for projects and services in all fields and to develop appropriate plans for their implementation and ways to mobilize the necessary funds for them.
The council’s activity in correcting the data for the beneficiaries of humanitarian assistance to Yemen from international and UN humanitarian organizations working in Yemen that was addressed and contributed to the delivery of such assistance to those vulnerable .
The Prime Minister confirmed the importance of strengthening the aspects of humanitarian partnership with various organizations working in Yemen and seeking responsible to solve the various problems they face in order to facilitate their activity and humanitarian effort in reducing the suffering of citizens as a result of the Saudi-Emirati aggression and blockade.
He praised the efforts and activity of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation during the past period.
