Humanitarian Affairs Council, UNICEF discuss the mechanism of remittances, medical support project
The Secretary-General of SCMCHA , Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, discussed with UNICEF representative in Yemen Philip Dudamel the mechanism for implementing the ninth phase of the cash transfer project.
At the meeting, which was in the presence of the head of the International Cooperation Department, Mana’a Al-Asal, Tawoos confirmed the importance of working on the principle of transparency and integrity at all stages of the provision of cash aid to the beneficiaries of UNICEF assistance.
He indicated the importance of respecting security controls that would protect humanitarian workers and ensure humanitarian access.
He pointed out that the Council is keen to overcome the difficulties and find solutions and remedies that will facilitate the access of cash assistance to its beneficiaries in a timely manner.
The UNICEF representative also appreciated the cooperation of SCMCHA , praising the work of the Joint Technical Committee, which is working well in the process of developing appropriate treatments to advance the project.
The meeting was attended by the director of international organizations, Turki Jamil.
On the other hand, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, discussed today with the Director of Public Relations of the International Medical Authority Ibrahim Al-Masi,and director if security and safty Mohammed Al-Sharabi, the implementation of the projects of the previous and current bodies.
The meeting was reviewed in the presence of the head of the Department of International Cooperation, Mana’a al-Asal, and the general manager of projects, Emad Hajar, Yemen’s needs of medical and humanitarian projects and the facilities granted in this aspect in order to achieve its goals and achieve the highest level of benefit for its beneficiaries.
