Zionist occupation holds early elections after Knesset is dissolved

The Speaker of the Knesset of the Israeli Occupation Entity, Yariv Levin, announced Tuesday / Wednesday evening that early elections in “Israel” will take place on March 23, 2021.

Levin said during the Knesset session, “The Knesset is currently dissolving and the 24th Knesset elections will take place on March 23, 2021.”

This comes after parliament failed to meet the deadline for approving the budget, as the elections impose new challenges on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The campaign for the fourth Israeli parliamentary elections begins in two years, while Netanyahu faces popular anger over his approach to addressing the Corona crisis, and criminal charges of corruption directed at him in the courts.

The longest-serving prime minister of the occupation will face a new opponent from the right-wing, Gideon Sa’ar, a breakaway from Netanyahu’s Likud party.

An opinion poll published by the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation showed that “Sa’ar has a popularity comparable to that of Netanyahu,” according to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, “Kan.”

The Speaker of Parliament announced his dissolution late on Tuesday evening, in a televised session, saying that “holding early elections has become automatic due to Parliament’s failure to pass the budget.”
