President Mahdi al-Mashat opens ” Martyr Commander Exhibition” for military industries
Quoted from the official YPA, President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat has opened the “Martyr Commander Exhibition,” which coincides with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi, founder of Ansarullah and leader of the revolutionary movement until his death in 2004.
Al-Mashat toured all the wings of the exhibition and listened to information given by the Ministry of Defence about details of the combat and tactical characteristics and operational effectiveness of displayed weapons.
The exhibition unveiled several weapons for the first time to the public, after they proved their efficiency and high effectiveness in the field, ranging from ballistic and winged missiles, to aircraft drones.
The exhibition also included naval, anti-tank and infantry weapons, as well as artillery, sniper rifles and other weaponry.
President Al-Mashat praised the efforts of all military industry workers and exhibition operators, expressing his great pleasure and pride in what he saw.
The President stressed that these achievements at the strategic level are a “striking hand in the context of deterring the ongoing aggression against the Yemeni people.”
He further praised the great achievements and quality of the Yemeni Armed Forces at various levels in the field, such as its productivity and its research and development.
For his part, Defense Minister Major General Mohammed al-Atifi praised the role played by the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, in taking care of developing the defence capabilities and the Yemeni military industries.
He stressing that all the contents of the exhibition, including the weapons that were unveiled for the first time, were all made with Yemeni hands and experiences.
Meanwhile, the official spokesperson of the Armed Forces, Brigader Genneral Yahya Sare’e, pointed out that the exhibition will create new manufacturing momentum in various fields and military disciplines, which Yemenis have reached today, due to their steadfastness, sacrifices and the directives of the revolutionary leadership.
The President and the military leaders concluded their tour by visiting the martyrs’ pavilion and reading a prayer in honour of the martyred founding leader, Sayyid Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi, as well as for the souls of the most prominent leaders and mujahideen of Yemen.
