The service sectors in Hodeidah organize a protest denouncing the detention of fuel ships
Today, Wednesday, the local authority and service sectors in Hodeidah governorate organized a protest in front of the United Nations office in the governorate. It denounced maritime piracy and the continued detention of oil derivatives ships by the countries of the US-Saudi aggression and preventing their entry to the port of Hodeidah despite obtaining UN permits.
The participants in the vigil raised banners condemning the continuation of the blockade and preventing the entry of oil derivatives ships, which threatens to stop work in the service and vital sectors of health, transport, electricity, water, agriculture and others from providing their services to citizens and a humanitarian catastrophe.
The Deputy Governor, Ali Al-Kabari, stressed that preventing the arrival of oil derivatives and the continued detention of ships is a crime in addition to the crimes of the aggression coalition against the Yemeni people.
He pointed out that the blockade and preventing the entry of oil derivatives will lead to a halt in work in all service sectors, the most important of which is the Electricity Corporation, which will result in a humanitarian disaster.
