“Saudi directives to cancel exchanges including 400 prisoners from both sides”: Yemeni official
The head of the National Committee for Prisoners Affairs, Abdul Qadir Al-Murtada, confirmed today, Sunday, that Saudi directives to its mercenaries to prevent prisoner exchange operations led to the arrest of operations including 400 prisoners
Al-Murtada said in a tweet on Twitter, “New Saudi directives to mercenaries to stop all exchanges agreed locally,” adding that the Saudi directives led to the suspension of 7 prisoner exchanges on several fronts, including 400 prisoners from both sides.
This is not the first time that Saudi Arabia has prevented its mercenaries from concluding prisoner exchange deals through local mediations. In the past period, it has prevented the success of exchanges including hundreds of prisoners.
