The Social Welfare Fund ,UNICEF discuss aspects of cooperation

The Executive Director of the Social Welfare Fund, Amir Ali Al-Warith, met in Sana’a today, Monday, with the Director of the Emergency Cash Transfer Project at UNICEF, Violet Warnery.

The meeting discussed a draft work agreement between the Fund and UNICEF regarding the resumption of the work of the Fund and its role in the field of social protection in gradual stages.

The meeting touched on the role of the Fund within the framework of the implementation of the emergency cash transfer project “stage ten”, which will start during the next few days.

The meeting was attended by the UNICEF team, Ammar Ibrahim, Maysoon Al-Awdi, and Arafat Al-Salihi, Director of Beneficiary Development at the Welfare Fund.
