Undersecretary of the Civil Aviation Authority: The coalition of aggression continues to impose siege on airports

Undersecretary of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology, Raed Talib Jabal, on Wednesday said “the US-Saudi aggression coalition continues to impose a full blockade on the airports of Yemen, especially Sanaa Airport.”

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Jabal indicated that the countries of the coalition of aggression have sought to paralyze air traffic at the Republic’s airports, especially Sana’a International Airport, since March 26, 2015.

Jabal added that the authority has nothing to do with what is being circulated about the announcement of opening or closing Sanaa airport or other airports in the country.

In this regard, a source at Sanaa airport said “the opening Sanaa International Airport to flights as soon as possible is a popular demand and a human right for all Yemenis at home and abroad.”
