Governor of Al-Mahra denounces the occupation’s creation of military facilities in Al-Ghaidah

Al-Mahra Governor Al-Qatabi Ali Hussein Al-Faraj condemned the developments and construction of military buildings and facilities near the runway of Al-Ghaidha Airport by the Saudi occupation.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Governor Al-Qatabi denounced the arbitrary practices of the Saudi occupation and the arrests and prosecutions of Mahra’s sons and anti-occupation figures.

He pointed to the increase in the crimes of arrests by the occupation militias against many residents of the province and their exposure to torture.

Al-Farji called on the international community and international and humanitarian organizations to condemn the violations and crimes of the Saudi occupation, and urged the people of the province to be aware of the conspiratorial plans of the occupying countries.

According to Al-Jazeera correspondent, Samir Al-Nimri, the Emirati occupation forces have established a new military base at Al-Rayyan Airport comes without the knowledge of the “Saudi-backed Hadi government.”

Al-Nimri said on Twitter Al-Nimri that the new air base that the UAE is working on establishing at Al-Rayyan Airport includes hangars for warplanes and military training sites.
