The Yemeni President receives a cable of thanks from the Syrian President

His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council, received a cable of thanks in response from the Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad in response to the congratulations he sent to him on the occasion of his victory in the presidential elections.

The President al-Assad expressed his appreciation for Yemen’s stances in support of the Syrian people, their free will and independent decision, wishing the Yemeni people continued prosperity, peace, stability and further progress and prosperity.

“We share your keenness to continue consultation and coordination between our two countries and to strengthen bilateral relations for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples,” he said.
