Prime Minister stresses the importance of coordination between Ministry of Technical Education and private sector
Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor stressed that the development of technical education and vocational training is a national necessity as it is an essential means to address the problem of unemployment and serve the goals of economic and social development.
It was during a meeting on Tuesday the Prime Minister praised the efforts of the Ministry of Technical Education during this exceptional period, its development plan for the sector, and its deliberate openness to strengthening partnership with the private sector working in the training field.
The meeting discussed several aspects of the 11th international conference on the future vision of education and training held in Sana’a next November, and the importance of coordination and joint preparation for this conference between the two sides.
It was agreed to form a joint working group from the Ministry and the Arab Board to prepare for the international conference.
The meeting was attended by the undersecretaries of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training and some specialists from the Arab Board for Consultation and Training.
