Rawabi Foundation distributes shelter materials to 2,266 displaced people in Hajjah
Rawabi Al-Nahda Developmental Foundation in Abs district, Hajjah governorate, in coordination with the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the governorate, has started a project to distribute housing cases for the displaced.
The project, supported by the High Commissioner for Refugees, targets 2,266 cases of shelter materials for the displaced coming from the border districts.
The Executive Director of the Foundation, Jamil Al-Qanazi, explained that this aid comes in light of the great and widespread need for the displaced, especially during the rainy season.
He pointed out that this project represents the foundation’s first launch in the field of shelter.
He also appreciated the interest of the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the governorate and the support of the High Commissioner for Refugees in implementing these projects.
