Head of the national delegation: we have the right to target British forces in Mahra

The head of the Yemen’s negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul Salam, affirmed on Saturday that the Yemeni army has the right to target the British forces in Mahra and Socotra provinces from being occupying forces.

Abdul Salam said in a press statement that the presence of British forces in al-Mahra is not new, and the foreign presence on the Republic of Yemen’s land is rejected.

He pointed out that “the Saudi side does not want a political or a humanitarian solution, but rather wants a disengagement and a fragile truce to continue the crisis, explaining that the Saudi proposal for a solution is illogical and unrealistic.”

“We do not believe that the Saudi-Omani rapprochement can affect Oman’s historical and strategic role. He added,” noting that the Sana’a initiative on Marib is a humanitarian one from being represented a key if Saudi or American has been serious towards the solution.”

Regarding the field military battles, Abdul Salam revealed that the battles are continuing in Marib or other fronts, while the aerial bombardment continues daily.
