Yemeni women gather in Sana’a to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Zaid PBUH
The capital, Sana’a, witnessed, Thursday afternoon, a massive women’s rally to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali, peace be upon them, organized by the Women’s Authority for Ansar Allah.
The participants in the march rally in the People’s Mosque Square in Sana’a expressed the importance of commemorating this anniversary in light of the aggression, siege, destruction, and crimes against Yemenis for nearly seven years.
The event pointed to the connotations and meanings of commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zayd and his revolutionary principles towards tyrants, oppressors, and enemies of the nation.
The women of the capital, Sanaa, pointed out that the Yemeni people derive from the revolution of Imam Zaid, the meanings of steadfastness to confront the forces of aggression and their attempt to dominate Yemen, land, and people.
They also affirmed the continuation of steadfastness and the continued support of the fronts with convoys of giving, to protect the homeland, its security, stability, sovereignty, and independence.
