An Expanded Meeting Headed By The Minister Of Information Approves The Media Plan To Cover The Events Of The Prophet’s Birthday

The Minister of Information, Daif Allah Al-Shami, stressed the importance of the role of the national media in conveying the true and honorable image of the Yemeni people’s celebration of the birth of the Greatest Prophet – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family.

Minister Al-Shami, while presiding over an extensive meeting organized by the Ministry of Information today, Sunday, for national media and correspondents of foreign channels, to discuss and approve the media plan to cover the events of the Prophet’s birthday 1443 AH.He indicated that the wide coverage of the events of the Prophet’s birthday carries many messages, foremost of which is the adherence of the Yemeni people to the Noble Prophet , and follow his approach, and morals.

He said, “We are in a strong battle, and the national media has proven its interest, harmony and interaction with all the happenings and changes on the national scene.”

He stated that the media’s interest in the honorable birth of the Prophet has many meanings and connotations, based on the national and religious responsibility in strengthening loyalty to God and to the Messenger who was sent as a mercy to the worlds.
