The Minister of Interior Directs to Strengthen Security in the Liberated Directorates in the Governorates of Shabwa, Marib

The Minister of Interior, Major General Abdul Karim Amir Al-Din Al-Houthi, directed to raise the level of security readiness and expand the security deployment in the liberated districts in the governorates of Shabwa and Marib, in order to achieve security and stability in those districts and to thwart the schemes of the aggression, its mercenaries, and its criminal expiatory elements that target the lives, security and property of citizens.

This came while he chaired a security meeting on Tuesday in the presence of Major General Ali Salem Al-Saifi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Human Resources and Financial Sector, Major General Shaher Al-Qahoum, Commander of the Central Security Forces, and Director General of Marib Police, Brigadier Ali Maqel, and Director General of Shabwa Police, Brigadier Abdullah Saleh Al-Mihdar.The Director General of Al-Bayda Governorate Police, Brigadier Abdullah Muhammad Al-Arbaji, and the Director General of Dhamar Police, Brigadier Ahmed Al-Sharafi.

The Minister of Interior confirmed the interest of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, may God protect him, and the political leadership in providing security for citizens in the liberated districts and providing them with protection after they were victims of lawlessness, and the persecution, abuse and criminal acts of the occupation’s mercenaries and its Takfiri individuals.

During the meeting, the commander of the Central Security Forces reviewed the security deployment plan in the liberated districts of Shabwa and Marib governorates, as well as the districts of Al-Soma and Maswarah in Al-Bayda governorate, which were recently purged of takfiri groups.

For their part, the security directors of Marib and Shabwa governorates confirmed the completion of the normalization of the situation in the liberated districts and praised the cooperation of sheikhs, dignitaries and citizens in the two governorates with the security men, which contributed to the pursuit and arrest of criminal individuals.

They pointed out that there is continuous coordination with the sheikhs and dignitaries in the remaining areas under occupation, who confirmed their readiness to play their role and cooperate and coordinate with the security men, the army and the popular committees in order to liberate their areas from the impurity of the invaders and their mercenaries.
