Yemeni Official: The Policy Of Starvation Pursued by the Countries 9f Aggression Exacerbating the Humanitarian Situation
A source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the confusion of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition reflects its failure to achieve its aggressive goals against the Republic of Yemen for the seventh year in a row due to the steadfastness of the Yemeni people and their belief in the justice of their cause and their rejection of foreign interference.
The source confirmed in a statement to the Yemeni news agency (Saba) that the failure of the aggression coalition to achieve its malicious goals, pushed it to further confusion, sometimes by misleading the international community that it supports a peaceful political solution, and at other times by threatening the military option and striking what it called “legitimate goals.” However, the military aggression did not stop so far committing violations and crimes against civilians, the latest of which was the crime of targeting the village of Al-Hakimah in Maqbna district of Taiz governorate, which killed more than 20 people, between dead and wounded, as well as targeting residential areas, workshops, factories and food stores in the capital, Sana’a, and a number of governorates that were source of livelihood for civilians.
The source pointed out that the policy of starvation pursued by the countries of aggression increases the repercussions of the humanitarian catastrophe as a result of preventing the entry of ships loaded with oil derivatives, household gas and foodstuffs to the port of Hodeidah, the latest was (AGIA-TRAIADA) loaded with corn, on December 3, 2021 AD.
The source stressed that while Sanaa can respond to the excesses of Riyadh and Abu Dhabi and respond to the conflict in the appropriate time and place, it still adheres to the just and honorable peace for the Yemeni people, but does not accept the continuation of the military aggression and the comprehensive siege or any positions through which the coalition of aggression tries to convey to the international community that what is happening in Yemen is nothing but an internal conflict.
The source pointed out that all the evidence confirms to the whole world that what is happening in Yemen is a direct and clear aggression from Saudi Arabia and the UAE with their military forces and warplanes against the Republic of Yemen and its people.
