Ministry of Industry condemns the US-Saudi aggression’s use of commercial ships for military purposes
Ministry of Industry and Trade denounced on Tuesday the US-Saudi aggression’s use of commercial ships to transport military equipment.
“The use of commercial ships to transport military equipment by the countries of aggression is a war crime and a violation of all international laws and covenants,” the Ministry of Industry said in a statement.
The statement pointed out that the countries of aggression, while preventing the entry of commercial ships carrying food, medicine and oil derivatives for the Yemeni people, are using commercial ships to transport military equipment.
The statement condemned the aggression’s ongoing targeting of Yemeni customs ports, the latest of which is the Al-Sawadiyah customs port in al-Bayda.
The Ministry of Industry called on the United Nations and the international community to lift the comprehensive blockade imposed on Yemen and to allow the entry of food and fuel ships.
