The aggression launches airstrikes on Yemeni provinces, committs violations on Hodeidah
Quting from YPA, the US-backed Saudi-led coalition fighter jets stepped up their airstrikes on Yemen on Sunday, launching more than 50 air raids targeting the provinces of Shabwa, Marib, Jawf, Amran and Saada, security sources reported.
The sources confirmed that the coalition warplanes targeted Shabwa with 30 raids, most of them on Ayn and Usailan districts, while Marib was hit with 14 airstrikes, including 12 on Al-Balaq area in Al-Wadi district and two others on Al-Jouba district.
The coalition aircraft also launched a raid on al-Yatama area in Khab Washa’af district of Jawf, while two others raids targeted Al-Boqa and Al-Ajasher areas off Najran region at the northern border.
Earlier in the day, the coalition warplanes deliberately targeted telecommunications towers and networks in the provinces of Saada and Amran.
According to the sources, the coalition fighter jets hit the communications network in Al-Abdin area, south of Saada city, two times, and targeted the communications network in Al-Safra’a district in the same province with two airstrikes.
Meanwhile, the coalition warplanes waged a raid on the communications network in Bani Ghaima area of Bani Suraim district, and another raid on the communications network in Sabih Mount in Khamer district of Amran province. This came less than 24 hours after the communication towers were bombed in Qarn Al-Ajam area in Raida district with four airstrikes.
The Ministry of Telecommunications condemned the coalition’s targeting of communications networks, stations and towers in the provinces of Saada, Amran and Jawf, which deprived tens of thousands of citizens of communications services and doubles their suffering.
The operations room to monitor violations recorded on Sunday 107 violations of ceasefire and Sweden agreement in Hodeidah province over the past 24 hours committed by US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition troops.
The source indicated that the breaches included establishing new combat fortifications and flying of warplanes and spy drones.
The source affirmed that the violations also included 21 breaches by an artillery bombing and 72 ones by various machine guns.
