Projects briefed to preserve old city of Sana’a
Quting from Saba, UNESCO’s Regional Office Director and Representative for Yemen and the Gulf States, Anna Paolini, visited on Monday the old city of Sana’a, and was briefed on a number of projects to preserve the city.
During the visit, Paolini listened from the Minister of Culture, Abdullah Al-Kibsi, and the Mayor of Sana’a, Hamoud Obad, to explanation on the most important projects implemented in the old city of Sana’a.
The UNESCO official praised Yemen’s stockpile of manuscripts, which includes valuables among the cultural heritage.
