The Supreme Political Council Affirms that the Republic of Yemen with True Peace ,Rejects Calls for Surrender

Quting from almasirah, the Supreme Political Council affirmed Sunday that Yemen wants real peace and seeks to achieve it in a manner that saves the dignity of the Yemeni people and all their rights, to end the US-Saudi aggression and siege.

In the meeting chaired by President Mahdi Al-Mashat, the Council indicated that Riyadh’s alleged calls for peace are not sincere, and it is as usual a prelude to a broad military escalation that it is preparing in the field in the framework of malicious plans to destroy Yemen and inflict more harm on the Yemeni people, their gains, and their national achievements.

The Supreme Political Council made it clear that when there is a sincere tendency to bring peace, Yemen will be the “entrepreneur” to make the peace process successful, stressing that the entrance to all of this is solving the humanitarian crisis.

Regarding the meetings of the UN Special Envoy to Yemen, the Council stressed that these meetings are not true to chart a path towards a political settlement to bring peace, but rather cover up the failure of the UN envoy to implement what he presented before The Security Council regarding the consultations.

The meeting stressed that the UN envoy should have taken the correct paths that lead towards a serious political settlement of peace and an end to the aggression. The Yemeni people, who are paying heavy prices as a result of this aggression and siege, will not be deceived by the falsehood of the misleading and false calls.
