Shura Council Condemns Continued Violations of Truce by US-Saudi Aggression

The Presidency of the Shura Council condemned, Friday, the continuation of the US-Saudi aggression in its violations and aggressive actions against the Yemeni people, in an attempt to undermine the UN-sponsored truce.

In a statement issued by the Council, it denounced the procrastination of the aggression in implementing the declared truce and its explicit violation of its terms, especially with regard to opening Sana’a International Airport, lifting the siege on the port of Hodeidah and allowing the entry of fuel tankers and food and pharmaceutical ships.

It pointed to the continued violations committed by the US-Saudi aggression with artillery bombardment in the areas of Hays and Shida, the continuous flight of spy drones and launching raids on Marib and Haradh during the recent days.

The statement said, “The aggression has to deal with truce seriously and implement its points without selection until the complete withdrawal of US-Saudi forces and foreigners from Yemen, lifting the siege and ending the war.”
