3RD phase of agricultural revolution launches in al-Bayda
The Ministries of Agriculture, Local Administration and Social Affairs and the Bonyan Development Foundation launched under the supervision of the Higher Agricultural and Fisheries Committee, the third phase of the agricultural revolution in al-Bayda province.
In the inauguration, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Dr. Radhwan Al-Rubaie affirmed that the inauguration of the third phase of the agricultural revolution is in accordance with the directives of the revolution leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, and President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat.
First Deputy Hamoud Shathan stressed the need for attention to the rehabilitation of agricultural land and the expansion of crop cultivation in all districts in order to achieve self-sufficiency.
He noted the importance of enhancing community awareness and mobilizing energies to promote the agricultural sector. Highlighting the province’s fertile land to produce a lot of agricultural crops, primarily cereals and white corn specifically.
Shathan noted the agricultural components of the Mukairas district in the cultivation of fruits and coffee crops, especially in the Hamra area of the Tafa district. Stressing the leadership’s keenness to support the efforts of the Bureau of Agriculture and the Committee on Agriculture in order to contribute to the expansion of agricultural activity.
