Civilian injured due to landmine explosion in Hodeidah
A citizen was injured on Friday as a result of the explosion of a landmine left behind by the US-Saudi aggression coalition forces in Hodeidah province, western Yemen.
According to the Executive Mine Action Center, a civilian was injured while he was working in his farm in al-Durayhimi district due to a landmine explosion.
The center attributed the number of victims are rising due to mines and remnants left over by the aggression forces during the humanitarian truce in many provinces to the lack of survey devices and equipment required to purify the affected areas, as a result of preventing their entry by the coalition.
It called on humanitarian partners to play their role and pressure the United Nations Development Program to provide detectors to cleanse the province from the war remnants.
