President praises the efforts of Higher Education Ministry, steadfastness of academic cadres in universities

President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, met with Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hussein Hazeb.

President Al-Mashat praised the tangible efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education, the achievements made in light of the US-Saudi aggression and the brutal siege.

He pointed out that the continuation of higher education despite the unprecedented challenges and difficulties resulting from the aggression and the siege is a great achievement that proves the high sense of responsibility of the leadership of the ministry and the leaders of the various Yemeni universities that were keen to qualify male and female students for the labor market in various fields.

President Al-Mashat also praised the steadfastness of the faculty members in universities, despite what they suffer from as a result of the interruption of salaries and low income, and who contributed mainly to overthrowing the goals of the American-Saudi aggression and its conspiracies that targeted the Yemeni person.

He said, “The suffering of university professors was one of the priorities that made the salary issue at the top of our concerns that we seek to achieve as a right of the Yemeni people whose wealth is being plundered, especially oil and gas resources.”

For his part, the Minister of Higher Education affirmed that the ministry will continue its efforts and will make difficulties opportunities are opportunities to develop higher education outputs, in a way that contributes to serving the country in various fields.
