Ministry of the Interior recovers 69 stolen motorcycles, announces the arrest of a gang specialized in stealing them

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Abdul-Khaleq Al-Ajri, confirmed the recovery of 69 stolen motorcycles and the arrest of a gang specialized in theft.

In a statement the Ministry of the Interior stated that this gang is among the organized robbery gangs that the leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi talked about and their danger and workers.

He pointed out that through continuous investigation and follow-up, the policemen in Amran governorate were able to arrest the gang members and bring them to justice, and recovered 69 stolen motorcycles.

Al-Ajri stated that the gang was stealing motorcycles from the capital, Sanaa, and other governorates, then selling them in other districts and governorates.

He praised the cooperation of honorable citizens with the police in controlling crime, stressing that the citizen is the main factor in enhancing security, stability and public tranquility.
