An explosive device targets the STC militia in Shabwa

One of the recruits of the Transitional Council militia was killed, and others were injured in an explosion targeting a military patrol in the city of Ataq, the center of Shabwa governorate.

A local source said that an explosive device exploded yesterday, Saturday, in a military vehicle on the main road near the eastern entrance to the city of Ataq, killing one of the Shabwa Defense Forces recruits, and wounding others.

Media sources indicated that the explosion killed a conscript and wounded eight others, including three recruits and five civilians.

This operation comes days after an explosive device exploded targeting a patrol of the so-called Shabwa Defense in the Lower Markha district, killing two recruits and wounding others.
