The state of security tension escalated in the occupied governorates during the past hours

A series of explosions occurred in a number of governorates and occupied areas in southern Yemen during the past hours.

Local sources said that an explosion targeted the headquarters of the pro-aggression Islah party in the city of Seiyun, noting that the explosion targeted the gate of the headquarters located in May 22 neighborhood.

In Hadhramout, a violent explosion was followed by armed clashes, and media outlets reported that the house of Hadramawt Valley Security Director, Brigadier Abdullah bin Hobeish Al-Saiari, was attacked late on Monday evening.

Media sources said that an explosion occurred near Al-Saiari’s house.

In Abyan governorate, unknown persons attacked the so-called command of the Fifth Infantry Brigade in the city of Mudiyah.

The command of the brigade indicated that unknown persons bombed the headquarters of the brigade with mortar shells.
