Yemeni community in Iran celebrates 8th anniversary of September 21 revolution

The Yemeni community in Iran, in cooperation with the Yemeni Students Union, commemorated the eighth anniversary of the September 21 revolution with a rhetorical ceremony.

In the ceremony, the Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic, Hassan Ahmed Sharaf El-Din, reviewed the economic, political, security and social conditions that Yemen had experienced and the failure of the previous regime in managing the state, which made it imperative for Yemenis to carry out a revolution and support it in 2014.

Sharaf El-Din presented statistics and figures about the unfortunate situation that the country had experienced before the September 21 revolution, foreign interference in Yemen’s affairs, and the confiscation of national sovereignty.

The head of the Yemeni community in Iran, Dr. Abdulrahman Rajeh, touched on the concepts of the September 21 revolution and its possession of the pillars that make it a revolution in the truest sense of the word.

Rajeh refuted the false terms promoted by the US-Saudi aggression coalition media about the September 21 revolution, which it describes as a coup against the so-called “legitimacy”.

He pointed to the role of the successful leadership in managing the revolutionary situation, confronting the coalition, and winning the will of the Yemeni people, who were subjected to the worst aggression and war throughout history.
