German soldier admits communicating with Saudi Arabia to form a mercenary group to fight in Yemen
The German “Deutsche Welle” channel said that two former soldiers in the German army admitted receiving funding from the Saudi regime to form groups of mercenaries to fight in Yemen against the Yemeni Armed forces.
The channel said: A German court sentenced two former soldiers to prison on Monday for trying to establish a terrorist organization to fight in Yemen.
The channel noted that one of the defendants admitted contacting the Saudi regime to obtain funding to create a mercenary force of former and current soldiers in the German army. The mercenaries were going to fight in Yemen on the side of the coalition of aggression.
The DW channel explained that the defendants did not succeed in their endeavor, noting that they were working in a suspicious security company.
The countries of the coalition of aggression resorted more than once to the assistance of foreign security companies and groups of mercenaries to fight in Yemen. These foiled efforts come to compensate for the Saudi aggressive coalition inability on the ground to achieve gains and victories.
Several press investigations and reports during the past years revealed that the countries of aggression used foreign mercenaries to carry out multiple tasks, including assassinations.
The coalition of aggression is still using Sudanese mercenaries to fight in its ranks on a number of fighting fronts, in return for sums of money.
