Aden governor warns coalition forces against ongoing plundering of Yemeni fish wealth
The governor of Aden, Tariq Salam, warned the US-Saudi aggression coalition forces against the ongoing plundering of fish wealth, abduction and murdering of Yemeni fishermen in the country’s coasts and waters.
In a statement to Yemeni News Agency (SABA), he explained that the Yemeni state represented by Sanaa government will spare no effort in protecting the capabilities and wealth of the homeland, defending the rights of Yemenis to practice fishing freely, and deterring anyone who tries to use the Yemeni coasts for his own ambitions.
He stressed that Yemen’s coasts and waters would not be permissible to aspirants and aggressors, and anyone who dares to harm Yemen’s maritime resources will be beaten with an iron fist under any justification or pretext.
Salam pointed out that the geographical location of Yemen and its sprawling coastline have made it the object of ambitions of external powers seeking to exploit the country’s marine wealth, plunder its resources, and deprive the Yemeni people of their rights.
Governor Salam pointed out that Yemen, while seeking honourable peace, would not accept that its capabilities and rights would be available to invaders and greedy people of any state.
