Zakat Authority, Commerce Chamber launch support campaign for patients with kidney failure, at a cost of YR 550 million
The General Authority for Zakat, the Chamber of Commerce in the Capital Sana’a, and the Commerce Chambers Federation launched in Sana’a a campaign to support the patients with renal failure under the slogan “Whoever saves a single life, it will be as if he saved all of humanity.”
The campaign aims, in conjunction with the launching of kidney transplant project by the Zakat Authority for 100 poor patients with kidney failure in Sana’a at a cost of YR 550 million, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Al-Thawra Hospital, to alleviate the suffering of the poor from kidney failure diseases.
Minister of State Ahmed Al-Ali indicated that the campaign is one of the most important charitable projects that are added to the Zakat Authority projects, calling on businessmen to support the efforts of the Zakat Authority to save the lives of patients with kidney failure.
For his part, Chairman of the Zakat Authority Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nashtan noted the importance of the campaign to instill hope in the hearts of vulnerable patients with kidney failure and alleviate their pain, aches and suffering.
