46 Citizens were killed and injured as a result of the explosion of bombs left by the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition during February of this year.
The Executive Center for Mine Action confirmed that (46) victims were killed as a result of unexploded remnants of war during February 2023, including 12 martyrs and 34 injured.
The center indicated that the statistics of the victims were distributed in the governorates (Hodeidah, Hajjah, Lahj, Saada, Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda, Marib).
The center indicated that Yemen has been suffering for eight years from widespread contamination with remnants of war as a result of which children and women are killed on a daily basis, and it has also led to doubling the suffering of civilians and impeding livelihoods and the return of citizens, in conjunction with the United Nations cutting off support for waste clearance operations.
