Sanaa condemns Zionist enemy’s approval to re-establish settlements in West Bank
The Sanaa government’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf, condemned on Monday the Zionist enemy’s approval to re-establish four settlements in the occupied West Bank that were dismantled and evacuated in 2005.
Sharaf held the Zionist enemy responsible for the consequences of the expansion of settlement activity, calling for protecting Palestinian civilians in accordance with international law.
He noted that this move would lead to increasing violence and violations committed by the Zionist occupation forces against the Palestinian people, as well as the intensity of confrontations in the Palestinian Arab territories, which threatens regional and international peace and security.
He called on the UN Security Council and the Human Rights Council to put an end to the repeated Zionist abuses and provocations and to the deterioration of conditions in the region and the rise in violence.
