Discussion of Yemeni pilgrims mechanism for relocation, provide services to them
A meeting that included the head of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Walid Al-Wadaei, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Abdul Rahman Al-Naami, stressed on Monday the necessity of the commitment of mass transport companies to provide the best services and facilities to Yemeni pilgrims and Umrah performers.
The meeting, which was attended by a number of heads of local and international mass transport companies, stressed the importance of providing distinguished transportation services for the guests of Rahman for the current year 1444 AH, and adherence to the instructions and conditions that must be available to ensure better services for pilgrims and Umrah performers.
The mechanism for transporting pilgrims and Umrah performers was reviewed, and the procedures that contribute to the safety and security of pilgrims until their return to the homeland.
At the meeting, the head of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority affirmed the interest of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in the pilgrims and providing them with the best services by providing sophisticated mass transportation.
He touched on the importance of cooperation and coordination between the ministry, the authority and the relevant authorities, and working as one team by establishing a joint operations room for follow-up, evaluation and receiving complaints through the authority’s toll-free number (8000007).
In turn, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Guidance affirmed that the Ministry and the Authority will be informed and constantly followed up on the process of enlisting and the departure of pilgrims and Umrah performers until their arrival in the Holy Land and the performance of Hajj and Umrah rituals and their return to the homeland.
