Deputy Minister of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Fouad Naji, stressed the importance of commemorating the massacre of Tanomah and Sadwan, which the Saudi regime committed against more than three thousand Yemeni pilgrims, to highlight the grievances of the Yemeni people, which began since the establishment of the Saudi entity.
He pointed out during an event organized by the General Authority of Endowments in cooperation with the Ministry of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs on the 103rd anniversary of Tanumah and Sedwan massacre, in the presence of Guidance Minister Najeeb Al-Aji, that commemorating this painful massacre represents a renewal of the covenant and loyalty to the blood of the martyrs.
The Deputy Minister of Guidance pointed out that this crime revealed the ugly face of the Saudi regime and its hostility to the Yemeni people since its inception.
He said, “The policies and stances pursued by the Saudi regime and the massacres it committed against the Yemeni people have proven that it is a historical enemy.” He pointed out that the Saudi regime’s plots against the Yemeni people are many and varied, most notably the occupation of Jizan and Asir in 1939 AD, the occupation of Al-Wadiah and Sharurah in 1969 AD, and the conspiracy against President Ibrahim Al-Hamdi, in addition to plotting against Yemeni expatriates and Yemeni unity, and participating in the sixth war against Saada in 2009 AD.
