The Minister of Fisheries condemns Saudi Arabia’s burial of nuclear waste in Yemen

Today, Saturday, the Minister of Fisheries, Muhammad al-Zubairi, condemned the burial of nuclear waste by Saudi Arabia and its mercenaries in Yemeni territory, calling on the National Salvation Government to take appropriate measures.

Al-Zubairi confirmed in a statement to Al-Masirah that a joint committee was formed from the Navy, Security, Coast Guard, and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Fisheries in order to follow up on the issue of nuclear waste.

Al-Zubairi said: When we are informed of any violation, we will inform the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to communicate with the United Nations and international organizations about this violation.

He called on the Ministry of Defense and the political leadership to be strict, because the pollution of the Red Sea affects the entire marine environment, stressing that the entry of any ship into the territorial waters is under the supervision of the naval forces.
