The National Salvation Government in Sana’a denied the statements circulated by the media affiliated with the coalition of aggression against Yemen, regarding the arrival of the replacement ship that will replace the dilapidated Safer tanker off the coast of Hodeidah.
Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Al-Ezzi confirmed, in a tweet on Twitter, that “New Safer ship has not arrived yet.”
Al-Ezzi added, “The pumping and unloading process has not started yet,” stressing that Sana’a “will announce the start of the pumping process as soon as the procedures are completed at the appropriate time.”
On a related note, Germany revealed, yesterday, Sunday, the suspicious role of the United Nations and its various organizations in exploiting the issue of the floating oil tank on the western coast of Yemen, known as “Safer”, to collect and harvest hundreds of millions of dollars.
On Sunday, German News Agency (DPA) quoted the Director of the Department of Crisis Prevention, Stability, Peace Promotion and Humanitarian Aid at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dike Botsel, as saying: The situation of “Safer” ship was not “critical” as the United Nations and its organizations had claimed over the past years, indicating that the condition of the tank was good.
