Deputy Foreign Minister: The American forces should stay away from our territorial waters in order to ensure the safety of navigation

Today, Monday, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Salvation, Hussein Al-Ezzi, sent a strongly worded message to the American forces that came to the Red Sea during the past hours.

Hussein Al-Ezzi said in a post on his page on “X” platform: In the interest of international peace and security and the preservation of the safety of navigation in the Red Sea, the American forces must move away from our territorial waters because any approach (only a mere approach) may mean the beginning of the longest and most cost intense battle in human history.

The United States of America continued its escalatory steps in the region, which reinforce efforts to obstruct peace in Yemen, as it announced, on Monday, the arrival of additional forces to the Red Sea.This represents a direct threat to Yemeni territorial waters, islands, and governorates, especially in light of the declared American insistence on continuing the aggression and blockade.
